July is a weird little month for content. You’ve got the 4th of July, summer safety, and about a thousand “hot pavement” reminders to get out before someone’s dog actually gets hurt. I rounded up 19 ideas for the month on the blog, but here are 4 of my favorites to get you started:

1. The ID tag poll. Simple, low-effort, high payoff. Ask “Does your pet wear: an ID tag, a microchip, or both?” and use it to talk about reunification rates. Polls like this are an easy win when you need something fast.
2. Clinic Crush of the Week. Pick a patient with personality and give them the spotlight. “This week’s Clinic Crush? Biscuit. Rolled in with donuts, gave top-tier tail wags, rocked a bandana like a pro.” This one’s a client favorite for a reason: it’s personal, it’s fun, and it makes your clinic feel like a place with real people (and real patients) in it.
3. The fence check reminder. An easy one to turn into a quick checklist graphic: wobbly boards, gaps underneath, loose latches. “A little fence check now can prevent a panicked search later” hits different in July when everyone’s outside more.
4. Lost pet action plan carousel. This is the kind of save-and-share content that actually earns its keep. Walk through the steps: search close to home, notify nearby shelters and clinics, put up flyers, post locally, check cameras. Mention that microchipped pets are reunited 20x more often. It’s a stat worth repeating.
